Cycle Chart


A "cycle" refers to the daily process that copies data from the Oracle schema to SAMIS, then copies SAMIS data to the Oracle schema. Each cycle "moves" a requisition or committment to the next step in the process. The following chart maps out what status codes are available at each step.

GENERAL NOTES:
Note 1: IQ, IR, PQ, and PR transactions always provide X5/R5 options.
Note 2: The following transactions can be posted immediately after a requisition is acknowleged although the BD won't be visible until the next cycle. This allows for simultaneous BD/BZ or immediate BD and delayed BZ.
Note 3: *BV is available after BV to allow improved ESD. #PR is available after BV to allow LOS changes (via AM) after contract.
Note 4: Estimated Ship Date (ESD) must always be a future date. Actual shipping date must be after BV and before today.
Note 5: AS3s repeat until requisition quantity is satisfied.
